The floor is constructed from conventional materials such as dimensional lumber, engineered joists, or a combination of the two depending on the model.
The floor is initially built upside down so the ductwork, plumbing system and insulation can be easily and efficiently installed.
The water lines are colour coded red and blue to indicate hot and cold. They are run along beside the heat plenum to protect from freezing.
Traditional fiberglass insulation is installed at this time.
